About the Podcast

The Metal Injection Livecast is a weekly hang out masquerading as a live podcast. Rob, Darren, Sid and Noa discuss the topics of the week, metal-related or not and provide their points of view, scorn, and ridicule. The hosts also look deeply into their own lives, they skewer religion, politics, terrible television and movies, pompous celebrities, metal musicians, callers, and each other. In a world of metal that is often ridiculously self-important, nothing is off-limits to laugh at. Additional segments include interviews with notable musicians and various game shows.

About the Host

Rob, 3D, Sid, & Noa

The host of the show is Rob, moving things along, asking questionable follow-ups and making flimsy segues during interviews and creating the Thor Shredsteen character, whose voice bleeds into any other impersonation Rob attempts. Noa is the producer of the show, manning the board (so to speak), as well as a co-host, and is completely (and sometimes frighteningly) open about her past sexual experiences. 3D (Darren) is the comedy enforcer, with the zingers, the comedy effects and fantastic impersonations of legendary metal musicians such as Dave Mustaine, James Hetfield and Danzig. Sid is the anti-host of the show and Minister of Hate, whose purpose in life is to disagree with whatever is on the table, find the most offensive thing to say possible at all times, and generally spread the philosophy of being a miserable person.
