Hysteria 51 is a weekly “odd-cast” that takes an every-man approach to conspiracy theories, aliens, mysteries, paranormal, the unusual, and the unexplained. Hosts John Goforth, Brent Hand, and Conspiracy Bot (a cranky robot bent on world domination who also happens to be the show’s head researcher) examine a different topic each week and generally come to one conclusion…the truth is out there, but you won’t find it here.

About the Host

John Goforth and Brent Hand

John is a Chicago resident, but actually grew up in “the real world”. As a functioning member of this diverse community John enjoys things like “happy hour”, “video games”, and “Val Kilmer”. John’s quaint midwestern upbringing has blinded him to what lies beneath the thin veil of reality. Unless he accepts the truth is out there, he will most likely die a slow death at the hands of our future alien overlords. He is married to Stacy and his favorite food is pho. Brent is a resident of Berwyn, Illinois. Berwyn is home to aliens, ghosts, and ghouls (that’s just the neighbors). When not podcasting, Brent enjoys long walks in the graveyard, administering anal probes, and custom tin-foil hat making. His eyes were opened to the world of the weird by an unusual experience with a pack of werewolves and a fire hydrant. Some of his idols growing up were John Carpenter, Bob Lazar, and the ghost of Vincent Price. Brent lives with his beautiful wife and loyal dogs – none of which will go near him during a full moon. Brent looks forward to the eventual alien uprising and is already campaigning for a position in the human slave council of elders. Brent’s favorite foods are mustard and Bud Light. He too enjoys a good “Val Kilmer”.
