Tracy Pattin and Larry Brand
Tracy Pattin is the host and co-producer of the Wondery Network’s groundbreaking series, Hollywood and Crime. She is also creator, producer and host of the new series, Women2018 where she travels the country documenting stories of women running for political office. With her West Hollywood history expertise, she designs and creates walking tours for the international media through Visit West Hollywood.Tracy is actively involved in historic preservation and frequently speaks on behalf of the West Hollywood Preservation Alliance in its pursuit of saving the city’s treasured buildings. She is a founding member of the Alla Nazimova Society. Larry Brand’s first job in the film industry was as driver and production assistant to the legendary Orson Welles. Following his first feature film, the psychological thriller, Backfire (co-written with 8180 Films co-founder Rebecca Reynolds), he went on to write, direct, and co-star in The Drifter, Masque of the Red Death, and Overexposed for Roger Corman’s New Horizons. In 2002, Halloween: Resurrection became the second most profitable sequel in the franchise’s history. 2010’s Christina won major awards on the film festival circuit, including Best Film, Best Director, Outstanding Achievement in Filmmaking, and Outstanding Achievement in Writing. The Coexist Comedy Tour is 2013’s recipient of Best Documentary Feature at New York’s Visionfest. 2007’s Hard Luck starred Wesley Snipes and Cybill Shepherd, and 2013’s A Perfect Man starred Liev Schreiber and Jeanne Tripplehorn. 8180’s The Girl on the Train won Best Screenplay at the prestigious Napa Valley Film Festival, and was released in theaters in July, 2014. Beyond Glory, directed by Brand and starring Stephen Lang and Gary Sinese (executive produced by James Cameron and Jon Landau), was released across all platforms by Gravitas in October, 2016. In November, 2017, Wondery’s Young Charlie, written and directed by Brand, became the number one podcast in the English-speaking world.
