About the Podcast
Anaheim homicide detective Julissa Trapp is not like other cops. Not only is she a woman on an otherwise all-male homicide squad, but she uses her personal experience as grist for the job, as a way to trap dangerous criminals. When three women disappear in Santa Ana without a trace, it takes all of Trapp’s skills to catch the person responsible for their murders. It turns out to be a serial killer who will “take a little piece of her soul” every time they interact. But she won’t stop until he’s brought to justice. The series is about an unwavering detective who fights through her own personal struggles and society’s indifference to bring a serial killer to justice. From the Los Angeles Times and Wondery, “Detective Trapp” is a new story from Chris Goffard, the host of “Dirty John.”
