By the Book is half reality show, half self-help podcast, and one wild social experiment. Join comedian Jolenta Greenberg and her skeptical friend Kristen Meinzer as they live by the rules of a different self-help book each episode to figure out which ones might actually be life changing.

Jolenta Greenberg and Kristen Meinzer
Jolenta Greenberg is a New York-based performer & producer. Her stand-up and storytelling have been featured all over NYC (The Bell House, Union Hall, UCB, The Music Hall of Williamsburg, and on Kevin Allison’s RISK! Podcast). She's a member of The All Stars of Comedy, the group of resident comedians at Pete's Candy Store in Brooklyn. Also, she's a Moth StorySLAM winner. You can hear Jolenta talking about news & culture for BBC Radio and NY Public Radio. She's a voice for WNYC Studios and many TV and radio commercials. She produced the world's first Women's Podcast Festival at WNYC, Werk It:How To Be A Grown Ass Podcaster. Recently, she was part of the team that launched the new podcast/gameshow Tell Me Something I Don't Know, produced by The New York Times & Stephen Dubner. Jolenta is currently developing a podcast with Slate's audio division, Panoply. Jolenta holds a degree in Performing Arts & Social Justice. Whether she's telling jokes, reporting the news, or teaching creative writing to women in jail - Jolenta firmly believes in the importance of telling stories that encourage people to think, question the status quo, and hopefully laugh.
