Cooper Surles What’s up Swingers!? Cooper here to tell you a little bit about myself. I grew up in Houston, Texas, and later graduated from Texas A&M University in 2015. Gig Em! I am a life-long sports fan and an avid listener of podcasts. When I’m not screaming at the TV watching sports, I love to try new foods and hit up my favorite breweries. I also enjoy traveling with my wife, especially to the mountains. My wife, Traci, and I got married in Breckenridge, Colorado and now reside in Houston with our pride and joy, our dog, Jackson. Podcasting has been a really fun, creative outlet for me, and something I’ve always dreamed about doing. I love being able to pull back the curtain and see what people are really like off the field and outside their professions. Ross Stripling Ross Stripling is from Ft Worth, Texas. He graduated from Texas A&M University in 2012 with a degree in Finance after lettering all 4 years for the Texas A&M Baseball program. The Los Angeles Dodgers drafted Ross in the 5th Round of the 2012 MLB Draft. He made his Major League debut in 2016, carrying a no-hitter into the 8th inning against the rival San Francisco Giants. A 2018 MLB All-Star, Ross has spent his entire career with the Dodgers thus far, which includes two trips to the World Series (‘17, ‘18). Away from the field, Ross is a licensed stockbroker, working for B Riley Wealth Management. He enjoys helping friends, family, and teammates plan their financial futures. Stripling and his friend, Cooper Surles, started the Big Swing Podcast in 2019, which has had guests such as Cody Bellinger, Clayton Kershaw, and CJ McCollum. Ross enjoys traveling, reading, fantasy football, spending time at the family ranch, and watching Netflix with his wife. He and his wife, Shelby, have been married since 2017 and spend their offseasons in Texas.
