Charmaine Bingwa & Katherine McNamara
Charmaine Bingwa is a Zimbabwean / Australian actor. She plays Carmen Moyo on The Good Fight and appears in Antoine Fuqua's thriller, Emancipation, alongside Will Smith. Michelle and Robert King co-creators/executive producers said "We are thrilled that Charmaine is bringing her enormous talents to The Good Fight ensemble. The moment that we saw her audition, we knew that we had found our Carmen, and we can't wait to start writing for her in Season 5." She's starred in Amazon's Black Box and SBiFF winner Trees of Peace. Charmaine made history becoming the first person of color to be awarded the prestigious Heath Ledger Scholarship in its 10 year duration. The judging panel included Oscar-winner Matt Damon, Naomi Watts, Elizabeth Debicki, Rose Byrne, Carmen Cuba and Jeremy Podeswa. Elizabeth Debicki commented "in the end, Charmaine's final audition, which showcased her raw and vivid talent, absolutely blew me and my fellow judges away." Naomi Watts also praised her saying, "we were all incredibly moved by her performance in her final audition and can't wait to follow her career." All agreeing she's destined to shake up the industry, as echoed by Deadline Hollywood, "Charmaine Bingwa represents a new wave of LGBTQ People of Color in Hollywood."
Katherine McNamara, named one of Vanity Fair's "Breakout Bunch," is an accomplished actor, dancer, singer/songwriter and was just awarded the 2018 People's Choice Award for Top Female Television Actress for her leading role of 'Clary Fray' in the Freeform series, Shadowhunters (2016); a book-to-screen adaptation of the bestselling "The Mortal Instruments." The series premiered to stellar ratings, being the #1 series debut in more than two years, and helped launch the re-brand of the channel alongside fan favorite Pretty Little Liars. In 2015, McNamara closed out a lightning year, portraying another fierce female role as 'Sonya' in the second and third installments of Maze Runner trilogy: The Scorch Trials and The Death Cure, respecitvely. She starred alongside Dylan O'Brien and Kaya Scodelario. She was also cast as Mia, a tough street fighter, in the CW series Arrow with Stephen Amell and Emily Bett Rickards.
