About the Host
Kristen Holmes is a correspondent for CNN in Washington, D.C., covering the White House and all things Washington. She was previously a national correspondent for CNN Newsource, where her stories and live reports aired on CNN's network of more than 1,000 affiliates. During her time there, she covered the 2018 midterm elections extensively, and created a voter issue series that took her across the country to depict what mattered most to Americans. Holmes also reported on some of the country's biggest nonpolitical stories, including Hurricanes Harvey and Irma, the Las Vegas shooting, and traveled to Guam to document the escalating tensions between the United States and North Korea.
