Donna Norman-Carbone and Hope Gibbs
Donna Norman-Carbone, the award-winning author of All That is Sacred and Of Lies and Honey, has a passion for writing women’s fiction that tugs at the heartstrings. After having taught as a university adjunct and adult educator, Donna currently teaches writing, film and British literature to high school students. She lives in a small Connecticut suburb where she and her husband have raised three children, two Labrador Retrievers and a Siamese cat. Donna holds a master’s degree in English from Southern CT State University and is a member of the Women’s Fiction Writers Association, The Author's Guild, and Connecticut Authors and Publisher Association. Hope Gibbs, the award-winning author of Where the Grass Grows Blue, grew up in rural Scottsville, Kentucky. As the daughter of an English teacher, she was raised to value the importance of good storytelling from an early age. Today, she’s an avid reader of women’s fiction. Drawn to multigenerational family sagas, relationship issues, and the complexities of being a woman, she translates those themes into her own writing.
